efference : My New IdentitySo I am jumbling the idea of making my photography a bit more well known. This is in order for me to expand as well as to network and get to interact with more talented photographers and models. One thing I decided was that it would be the most ideal if I took a more "professional" approach to photography - a step towards this would be to create a more professional and realistic name.
I searched around for the perfect name, randomly trying to find names that haven't been taken by other photographers yet. This was a HARD task. Most interesting names were taken, examples such as: pure, dream, essence, surrealism, euphoric, etc ... Photography. I obviously knew that there would be a lot taken, but I was determined to find one.
I was in lecture one day, a Physiology course, and I was learning about nerves/neurons. It was a discussion about Afferent and Efferent neurons, basically incoming and outgoing nerves from the central nervous system. I didn't think much of it - until later that night, I grew fond of the word "efferent" or "efference."
Efference: conveying or conducting (neural pathways)away from an organ or part ([link])
Now, it doesn't seem very appealing based on the definition, and it doesn't make much sense. But as a creative person, I decided to make something out of it. From this, I finally found my signature, efference Photography.
efference Photography conducts essential neurons from the human mind in order to elicit expressive emotions needed in flawless pictures.

Even though I have given birth to a new identity, I have decided to keep this account for certain. It demonstrates the different phases I go through as a person and as an artist.
I will indeed make a new account with my new identity, but it won't be associated much with scrap photography - it will be strictly my portfolio for future endeavors. Just that from now on, all my work shall have an "efference" watermark on it, which in the end, is still my work.

I'm definitely still learning about photography and I really don't get enough time to go out and take photos, but I hope to produce some cool stuff in the near future!
